UNIQLO’s HEATTECH technology is famous around the world for its thin layer, warmth, stretchy, anti-static and non-deforming functions. It also fights bacteria and prevents the body odour. This clothing has a staple-wear in all cold-weather countries. Reasons why it is warm while also thin and stretchy? In the picture above, 2 pairs of jeans are compared, the below one is Heattech Ultra-stretch. They have different composition of fibers. The upper one is made from 51% cotton, 35% polyester, 11% rayon, and 3% polyurethane. The heattech ultra stretch one is made from 41% cotton, 32% polyester, 8% rayon, 9% polyurethane, and 10% acrylic. So, the heattech reduces cotton, polyester and rayon, to increase polyurethane and add acrylic .
